The Hawthorne House is located in historic Parkville, MO. It was such an amazing wedding venue,with separate locations for the wedding and the rehearsal space. The staff and wedding planner were all well informed and incredibly professional. The lay out of the space is incredible and is a perfect wedding location. With tons of natural light and space for guests, I would recommend this space for any wedding that is wanting more of a traditional wedding. They have a beautiful chapel and a very classic rehearsal venue that lends very closely to a cover shoot for Southern Living.

Jacobs Well is a beautiful church located down in the Westport area of Kansas City. With gorgeous stained glass windows and more traditional pew seating, adds to the incredible nostalgia of the space. The ideal wedding for a duo photographerteam, because there is an upper balcony in the back to allow amazing shots from multiple angles. The Sanctuary comfortably seats up to 350 people (if using the balcony). It has 35 pews on the main center aisle and six in the balcony (including the front balcony pew). The center aisle is 51 feet long. If you need dressing rooms or waiting areas prior to your ceremony, you may use the ladies’ room on the first floor, any of the children’s classroom, or the Prayer Chapel on the second floor.
